Let us introduce Bonisa!
The sheer number of people in China makes this country one we cannot ignore. Bonisa Mission North America is a small means to provide help in the great country of China. Bonisa Mission aims to spread God’s word, serve churches, and support the needy in China. Meaning, “Message of Peace,” Bonisa desires to be true to its name wherever it works.
Bonisa Mission is a registered charity in both Canada and the United States. Its board members belong to churches of Reformed persuasion. Its foundation is the Word of God and it subscribes to the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort) as well as the Westminster Standards (Confession of Faith, Shorter Catechism, and Larger Catechism).
Though Bonisa Mission North America has only existed for around seven years, it works closely with Bonisa Mission The Netherlands, which has over 35 years of experience in working in China and built up a good reputation both in China and in the Reformed community.
To do its work, Bonisa Mission is dependent on the blessing of God and the support of churches, businesses, and individuals, like you.

The work of Bonisa Mission involves:
1. Bible and Literature Distribution
- Distributing Bibles in several languages, such as the languages of the Lisu, Lahu, Miao, Yi, Jingpo, Dai, and Wa ethnic minorities in China,
- Distributing Christian literature
2. Supporting Churches
- Supporting several Bible Schools for the training of ministers and evangelists;
- Supporting Pastors
- Supporting Tent-makers
- Building churches
3. Providing medical support
- Supporting Medical clinics in poverty-stricken areas
- Supporting homes for handicapped children
- Providing care for the blind and aged
- Providing care in leper villages
4. Providing structural support
- Helping village schools for children
- Building bridges
- Digging wells
5. Providing disaster relief in the wake of earthquakes, floods, droughts, winter storms.
